EUSTIS HORSES FOR FRANCE Washington D C December 10 A cablegram received by W I Burch from George B Eustls or ¬ ders tlie shipment of Mongolian and Utmost to France at once If arrangements can be completed in time the horses will be passengers on the Atlantic transport liner Mlnnetonka which leaves New York next Saturday Mongolian and Utmost are to be raced in steeplechase events next season and they will be conditioned schooled and pointed for racing through the crosscountry field by the highly success ¬ ful American trainer Preston Burch at Maisons Laflitte in France FranceUtmost Utmost a bay gelding three years old by Garry Herrmann Utilitas won during the season just closed He finished third in the Harbor Hill Cup the big steeplechase fixture of the Piping Rock Rac ¬ ing Association decided on tlie picturesque Loug Island course October 10 10Mongolian Mongolian although a maiden fouryearold is one of the best looking thoroughbreds in training in this country He is a horse of magnificent size and he possesses all the characteristics of a slashing good timber topper A son of Watercress Lychee Nut he is a rich looking chestnut
