JOCKEY CLUB LICENSES GRANTED. New York. January 21. — At yesterdays meeting of the stewards of tin- lackey Club it was decided not to consider H. D. Browns-application for October dates for the Laurel, Mil., course until certain questions now unsettled lie adjusted. Mr. Brown had asked for the usual dates for October, which under his charter is the only time of the year wheat he can race. The "unsettled questions" include the claims of the Oneek Stable aud William Martin for a fuller valuation of certain stakes won by them last October. The amount of money involved is less than $:;.000. Some time ago Mr. Brown said he would not accept the decisiou of the stewards when the protest came up.
