DOINGS OF KENTUCKY COMMISSION Lexington Ky April 28 It was incorrectly stated in summarizing the action taken by the Ken ¬ tucky State Racing Commission on Saturday that M J Daly had been reinstated The official report of the action taken is as follows followsUpon Upon motion duly seconded and carried the com ¬ missions ruling entered September 23 1911 where ¬ by W C Daly and M J Daly were ruled off for fraud in transferring the services of the jockey Arthur Wrispen to James F Johnson after having sold the same to Ed Corrigan was set aside so far as the same affects W C Daly The resolution recited that there was doubt as to whether the commission of the Jockey Club of New York had jurisdiction jurisdictionThe The following new rule was adopted adoptedTo To any race that is given as a substitute for a nice which has been declared off the same amount of money shall be added as was to have been added to the race which was declared off and for which such race is a substitute substituteRule Rule 107k was amended to read as follows followsA A boy who has of his own free will witli tlia consent of his parents parent or guardian bound himself as an apprentice to any owner or trainer for a term of not less than three years by written contract a certified copy of which shall be lodged with the State Racing Commission may claim a livepound allowance when riding for his contract employer in all selling races during the year for which his license has been granted and during a period of one year froni the date he rode his first winner Apprentices riding for owners other than their contract employer shall not be entitled to any allowance Allowance under this rule must be claimed at time of entry entryThe The following new rule was adopted adoptedNo No racing association licensed by tliis commission shall permit any parimutuel machines to be set up or operated on any part of its grounds except in the regular betting shed or ring and no betting com ¬ missioners shall be employed or allowed to carry any nets from any part of the grounds to the pari mutuel machines and no tickets shall be sold in any parimntuel machines except iu the regular betting shed or ring ringRule Rule No 24 was amended by striking out the fol ¬ lowing words Nor shall the conditions of a raco be so made as to favor horses of a certain age over horses of any other age so that the same when amended shall read as follows Conditions of races shall not conllict with the racing rules in any manner
