MONTREAL HORSES FOR TORONTO Montreal Quo May 21 The last few days have been busy ones at Blue Itom ets the majority of the locallyowned horses staid d there having IMOII given useful work A number of those horses will lie shipped to Toronto for the i eetiug of the Ontario lockev Club after which the will come back to Montreal for the Hint I5om els spring meeting June 310 Wickson owned by Lionel Ekers which showed some good performances over the jumps last fall has been well schooled at Blue Bonnets and will be taken to Toronto to run in several of the stake events there Magpie owned by J Greor Chapman who purchased her from Mrs L A Livingston last fall has been entered in some of the stakes at Toronto and will also go there to race This filly has received her early preparation at lilue lionnots under the direction of trainer Alan Bulcrof t She is ready to race Tin raceTin Jitsu is another that wintered in Montreal that probably will IK shipped to Toronto to run through the field The rest of the horses in the public stable of trainer Bulcroft will bo left In Montreal to lie pointed for the events for Canadian and Provincebred horses to be run here Those In the stable are Wickson owned by Lionel Ekers Jin Jitsn owned by T Wilson Magpie owned by J Grecr Chapman Irish Heart and King Saxe owned by Sir II Montague Allan Floral Crown Linsprit Sacal and Saudle owned by Charles S Campbell of Montreal The lastnamed three are twoyearoldsTrainer twoyearolds Trainer J F Smytho has a good string in train Ing including John Marrs with which he won two races last season This old horse never looked better than at present presentTrainer Trainer W Walsh has several In training that are locallyowned The best of the lot are Valiant Prince owned by J Greor Chapman and a couple of promising twoyearolds These horses have been gone along with and are now well up to racing condi ¬ tion tionThe The going at Blue Bonnets was never in better condition that at the present time recent showers having been just enough to boat down the cushion Many applications for stabling accommodations have been daysThere received in the past few days There are about 2r 0 horses at Dolorimicr Park Montreal for the mooting scheduled to open on Sat ¬ urday Ed Cole will be presiding judge and Charles Campeau racing secretary
