KOHLER TWOYEAROLDS SOLD ABROAD ABROADIt It has been supposed that all of the horses in France and England belonging to the estate of the late Charles Kohler were to be brought to tilts country for sale but It is probable that his twoyearolds In charge of trainer Joseph Butters at Newmarket England were sold last week while the sales Incident to tlie Newmarket Second July meeting were in progress At any rate London Snorting Life of July 2 in au advance notice of the sales said The whole of the late Mr Charles Kohlers twoyearolds In training by Butters will be submitted to auction They number in all fifteen four colts and eleven llllles and without exception were bred in the United States Five of them are already winners these being Divine a chestnut filly by Hippodrome out of Deity by Disguise Coronis also a chestnut fllly by Voter from Court Dress by Disguise Speeclyfoot a bay daughter of Voter from Swiftfoot by St Simon Staccato a chestnut fllly by Africander out of S iuedaddle by Watercress and Umbria a bay filly by Superman out of Umbra by Ben Brush All these fillies should win again and some of those which have not yet dene so are almost certain to score in their turn It Is a thousand pities therefore that Mr Kohler was not spared to witness the full fruits of his enterprise in pa ¬ tronizing so largely racing in this country as well as in France It is a misfortune for Butters too that his hopes of another successful season should be destroyed but perhaps some of his other patrons will be amongst the purchasers in a fortnights time
