CONDITIONS OF A RICH RACE Dorval Jockey Club Announces Details of 20000 International Derby of 1914 Montreal Quo August 18 The management of the Dorval Jockey Club has made public the con ¬ ditions of the 20000 International Derby to be run during the summer of 1814 This stake has a great advantage over other Derhys run on American and Canadian tracks as subscribers are given the privilege of naming three horses within a specified date or of selling their subscription should they desire to toShould Should subscribers not be the owner of a worthy eligible at the time of naming the horses they are given the privilege of leasing the running quali ¬ ties of any horse or horses In the majority of other Derbys horses are named and should anything go wrong with them before the date of the race the owners forfeit their subscriptions The entries for the International will close on November 15 next and the horses are to tx named on or before May 1 1 14 Following are the conditions conditionsFor For three yearolds foals of 1911 By sub ¬ scription of individuals of 250 each The subscrip ¬ tion to entitle the holder to name on or before May 1 1914 three horses of which two only may start The subscription also to In subject to sale or trans ¬ fer up to the time of naming horses provided a cer litied copy of such transfer lie filed with the Dorval Park Jockey Club on or before May 1 1U4 1U4It It is further understood that the holder of a s subscription may lease the miming qualities of one or more horses for the race provided that such lease is consummated on or before the time of nam ¬ ing horses and that a certified copy of such lease is filed with the general manager of the Dorval Park Jockey Club on or l efore the time of naming horses horsesStarters Starters to pay 150 additional each Tin Jockey Club to add to subscriptions and the starting fees a sum sullicient to make tin value of the stake 20000 of which 2000 to the second lr00 to the third and 500 to the fourth horse horseWeight Weight for age Winners In 1014 of 2000 to carry two pounds extra f 5000 five ixmnds extra Nonwinners at any time of 1000 allowed live pounds maidens ten pounds One mile uid a quar ¬ ter
