ENFORCING REGISTRATION IN CANADA Toronto Out August 18 The following im ¬ portant circular notice has been issued from the office of the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society of which Col Wui Hendrie is president presidentOwing Owing to the largely increased monies given by the jockey clubs comprising the Canadian Racing RacingMSMlCl i iS S ifnd Ule JOCHey clubs wulcu racc ner MSMlCl their rules it is deemed advisable for the proper identification of thoroughbred horses bred in Canada which are entered in races for Canadlaubrcds oulv to draw your attention to the C R A rule whicn will be enforced at the following jockey club nicer lugs Ontario Jockey Club Montreal Jockey Club 1ort Eric Jockey Club Windsor Jocker Club Hamil ¬ ton Jockey Club ClubRule Rule 35 of the Rules of Racing is the point re ¬ ferred to and its vital paragraphs read as follow The office of the Jockey Club New York is designated as the registry office The registry olilc Is established for the purpose of identification of tW race horses whether foaled in the United States or In other countries and the certification of their pedigrees Horses foaled In the United States or Camilla must be registered with the registry office by No ¬ vember 1 of the year in which they were foaleil but all horses foaled in Canada must be registered iu addition and at the same time with the thorough bred department of the Canadian National Live Stock Records Ottawa Canada and with the Canadian Racing Associations for which last reg istration no fee will bo charged
