ELLA BRYSON ran in close pursuit of the leaders for the first half, then went to the front with a rush while entering the homestretch when the leaders went wide and quickly drew away into an easy lead. BRIAR PATH began quickly and outran the others from the start, but lost the lead and much ground on the stretch turn, where she went wide. GEXESTA met with interference in the early running, but hugged the rail all the way and just lasted long enough to outstay YENGHEE. The latter swerved out when entering the homestretch. The latter was badly outrun early and closed a big gap when going to the last fence, but tired in the last quarter. VELSINI hit the eighth fence and went to his knees.
