SHELBY BELLE was away forwardly and, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders, drew away iecisively in the stretch at the end of a fast finish. STELLA GRAINE showed the most early speed and. setting the pace to the last eighth, stayed gamely in the final drive. COLLE raced well up throughout, but tired in the last eighth. MIND A made up ground and was in close quarters during the stretch drive. GYPSY LOVE quit badly in the last eighth. LITTLE BIT closed a big gap. SAN VEGA was in a jam for the first three-eighths and was forced to go wide, but finished fast. KING WORTH ran forwardly throughout, but tired near the end. ERIN elored a big gap from a poor beginning. DEPOSIT set the pace to the stretch and tired. LOFTUS showed speed. Scratched 12379 Monstone, 104. PRINCE HERMIS showed the most early speed and made the pace fast but tired in the stretch. SWANNANOA ran in nearest early pursuit, but quit in the last quarter. The latter finished fast and ran a good race, but was lucky in escaping interference. FLEX set a fast pace and tired in the last quarter. CREAM was away slowlv and had a rough race. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. RASH, showing decided Improvement, followed THE GRADER closely from the start and disposed of him in the stretch, but had to do his best at the end to last long enough to outstay VEIiENA. Tuio latter was best, but suffered from interference on the first two turns, then closed a big gap and was going fastest at the end. THE GRADER set the pace to the homestretch and held 011 fairly well in the final drive. SAM HIRSCH came fast in the stretch. BONANZA and CORKOPS1S tired after displaying speed lor three-quarters.
