RECENT IMPORTATIONS FROM IRELAND. Eight Irish-bred yearlings and one broodmare landed in tills country September lc, of which six are the property of Thomas Clyde, two of C. S. Campbell and the other of W. F. Presgrave. All are well bred and some of the yearlings may be destined to figure conspicuously in our two-year-old racing of next year. Of these three were bought at Goff and Co.s auction at Dublin in the closing days of August, thev being the Mithra Justify lllly, 50: Kroonstad -Girondee II filly, ,250. and the His Majesty Mrs. K. filly. ,000. The others were probably secured by private purchase. The list and breeding are as follows: Brown colt, foaled 1912, by Ardoon Princess Thera. i Brown colt, foaled 1912, "by Machacos Golden Honey. Chestnut colt, foaled 1912, by Frontino dam by Theophtlus by Arbitrator. Bay filly, foaled 1912, by Earl of Eglinton Colleen Ogue. Brown filly, foaled 1912. by Ardoon Modest Miss. Bay filly, foaled 1912. by Mithra Justify. Brown filly, foaled 1912, by Kroonstad Girondee ir. Chestnut filly, foaled 1912. by His Majestv Mrs. K. Galgris, 1. or br. in, foaled 1905, by St. Gris Galette. Of the sires of the yearlings, Ardoon is by St. Friisqiiln and so is Frontino; Machacos is by Desmond, His Majesty by .Melton, Mithra by Persimmon. Earl of Eglinton by Sempronlus and Kroonstad by Kllwnrlin.
