IT HAPPENED IN BALTIMORE. A prominent business man, the head of one of Baltimores leading firms, held two tickets on a winner at Pimlico. When he cashed In, by mistake, the man at the window paid him for three tickets, making an overpayment of something like 1913.sh0. This, as was natural, troubled the conscience of a Baltimore man. and he consulted a friend as to how the mistake should be rectified and the money returned. As a result ho called Capt. W. F. Presgrave out and. explaining the facts, returned the money, saving the delinquent cashier a loss of 0 or more.
