FLATBUSH, off forwardly, moved up steadily while rounding the far turn, hut tired after disposing of INDIAN ARROW and was driving hard at the end to outstay BERGAMOT. The hitter finished fast and gamely and was wearing the winner down. INDIAN ARROW met with no mishaps, was off forwardly. set a fast pace and was well ridden. DAKOTA was pnlled up when the start came and closed a big gap. COOSTER made up ground and finished with a rush. CHIEF MAGISTRATE ran fairly well. PULSATION quit badly. NIXON worked his way up on the outside while rounding the far turn and, standing a long and hard stretch drive gamely, got up to win in the last stride. FATHOM slipped through on the inside after entering the homestretch and was slowly wearing the winner down in a game finish. BEN QUINCE set a fast pace and, being much used in racing SOME KID into defeat, was tiring at the end. XI LP was left at the post. SOME KID ran a fast half and tired. SACKCLOTH was a forward contender from the start and ran a good race, but was tiring at the end. LITTLE ENGLAND finished fast and was wearing tlie leaders down. MISS MOMENTS ran into the lead in the stretch, but gave way in the final drive. SCHALLER finished fast. ROD AND GUN ran well. THRIFTY unexpectedly quit after setting the pace to the stretch. The latter was off slowly, hut worked her way up on the outside and, finishing with a rush, would have won in a few more strides. DADDY GIP set the early pace and was a forward contender all the way. REPUTATION raced forwardly throughout. LORETTA DWYER closed a big gap and tired. NELLO quit in the stretch. Scratched 125C9 Duquesne. 105: 12500 Batwa. THE URCHIN ran on the outside of the leaders all the way and outgamed LOUISE TRAVERS for second place in the final drive. The latter was a forward contender from the start, but tired and failed to stay the route. LANCI5WOOD finished gaining, fast and would have been third in another stride. YELLOW EYES legan fast and set the enrly pace, but his rider had liim under slight restraint and allowed him to be headed on the far turn, then went Into the lead again and had to lie hard ridden at the end to withstand COLONEL ASHMEADES challenge. The latter ran a good race and hung on resoluteiy under punishment. FEATHER DUSTER begun flatiooted and. closing a gap, might have won with better luck at the start. HEDGE ROSE liuished close up. SPELLBOUND quit and did not run to his true form.
