JUAREZ FAY0B1TES BEATEN ALL SIX FIRST CHOICES GO DOWN TO DEFEAT AT MEXICAN TRACK. Little Bit and Buss, Two of Days Winners, Are Mediums of Heavy Backing Course Heavier Than Ever. El Paso, Tex., December 18. The Juarez track was even iu worse condition today than it was yesterday. All the favorites went down to defeat, the card being accounted for by four second choices and two long shots. There was heavy support for two of the winners. Little Bit, which scored iu the opening dash, was backed from 5 to 1 down to 5 to 2 and Buss, the winner of the tifth race, was similarly backed. Rose of Jcddah, which met witli defeat yesterday, was again heavily backed tills afternoon, but Buss bent her in the hardest drive of the day. Velio Forty ran well for. a short distance, then gave up the struggle and was beaten off. Ben Stone easily disposed of the band opposed to him in the third race and showed a decided liking for the going. John Deguan today sold his two-year-old Osapie for ,500 to J. F. Keith and Kay Spence. The colt will be handled In the future by trainer Spence. Horace Paul and Dave Honeyman arrived today from San Francisco. Mr. Paul Intends to draw a stand in the ring tomorrow. On account of the unfavorable track conditions the fields for tomorrow arc exceptionally small.
