David Garrick. the fourteen-year-old son of Hanover and Peg Wellington, winner of the Chester Cup in England and the Annual Champion Stakes in America, two famous long-distance races, and once sold for 0,000. was sold Tuesday at The Repository for .05 to John Charles of this city. David Garrick was included in the consignment from the Valley Farm, the property of the estate of the late William Hendrie of Hamilton. Martimas is now established at the head of the Valley Farm Stud, and the Golden Garter stallion. Charles Edward, is now also stationed there, leaving no room for the Hanover horse, one of whose progeny. Old Reliable, was a winner last year.
