ELIGIBLES FOR BREEDERS FUTURITY. Third Payment Reduces List to 58 as Compared With Original Number of 180. Lexington, Ky., January 17. The Breeders Futurity, the Kentucky Associations chief springtime stake for two-year-olds, in fact the richest of Kentucky juvenile events, has now 5S eligibles and, figuring that only twelve go to post in May, will be worth 1914.sh,930. The stakes were closed with ISO nominations at each; 130 made the second payment of 0 each, and 5S, on January 1. made the third payment of 23 each. Jim Savage and Emerson Cochran were named by O. A. Bianchi for two well-known Lox- ingtonians. The Peter Quince Amy .T. colt is the most highly-tried juvenile of the J. N. Camdeil string. Lukeniae is racing at Juarez in tin; Clark string. La Patrie is in the Colston string at Charleston and is a winner. Little String and Sam .AIc.AIeekin showed well in their trials at Louisville. The Lady Hope colt showed considerable speed as a yearling over the local track. The May Hempstead lilly is one of the best looking individuals seen here in many a day. The Coy Maid filly is being trained here by John I. Smith and worked a quarter in 22 last Tall. The Resignation colt is a half brother to Carlton G. The Sister Mollie colt is a half brother to Onatas. T. L. Pierce is training the Graziella colt and lie has a high regard for him. Tod Cook is considered by gcxul judges to be the star of the Jefferson Livingston juveniles in training under Mose Goldblatt at Juarez. Good reports have come from Louisville concerning the George J. Long eligibles which are lieing trained by Pete Coyne. The half sister to Hanbridge, the lilly by Ben Brush Debacle, is a good looker. T. C. McDowells solitary eligible is a half sister to The Manager, one time winner of the Breeders Futurity, and she worked a quarter here last October in 23. The Mary Agnes colt is a half brother to Louise S.. and it is said he is one of the best of the eligibles. Mrs. Joseph Neal, his owner, is a daughter of the late John AYelsh, of Spring Station. Mendelssohn is owned by AY. II. Netherland, of Louisville, and was sold in the October sale at Latonia for ,300. T. L. Pierce is training him and he thinks a great deal of him. Bens Brother is racing well at Juarez. The Myrtclus coll is a half brother to Sein-prolus and was the highest priced yearling sold by auction in this country last year. He brought ,500. The big Goose lilly is a sister to Golden Egg and Golden Egg was second to Housemaid in the first running of the Breeders Futurity. The Lyndall filly is a brother to Star Gaze and Etherial. Dorothy Perkins is a half sister to Liberty Hall, and the Peace lilly is a half sister to The Hague. John AYliitlow hasnt decided upon a name for her.
