NOTES OF THE TURF. There is a disposition to regard Jefferson Livingstons Ed Howard as the best two-year-old shown at Juarez this season. He is a bay gelding by Cesarion Lino of Life and is one of the band purchased by Mr. Livingston from Catesby Woodford. R. G. Martin has offered to hack his horse John Reardon against Jefferson Livingstons Bonne Chance for a substantial side stake at Juarez. Martin declares that John Reardon should have won the nice in which Bonne Chance made a new Atnericau record pf 1:07 for the mile.
