TENTATIVE EASTERN PLANS. New York, January 21. While no announcement lias yet been made of the racing plans for the coming season beyond the fact that a number of stakes have been closed, the probable schedule has lieen discussed by representatives of the various racing associations. It has been about decided that the season will be more pretentious than in 1013 and probably the start will come earlier. Last year Relmont Park opened its gates May 30 Decoration Day. For the coining year the start will not lie made until some lime in May, according to all that has been considered up to this time, but it will be earlier in the month. It has also been about decided that the New York dates will not be conlined to Relmont Park and Saratoga. The Empire City course at Yonkers will undoubtedly have- a meeting, and should there be racing each day instead of three days a week, one other of the Long Island tracks will be opened. Saratoga naturally will take the month of August, as formerly, and whether or not there will be any September racing over the city tracks is a question that has not yet been decided.
