: NUMEROUS MONEY-WINNERS FOR J. 0. TALBOTT J : : For a comparative, new coiner in racing J. O. Talbott was a fortunate owner in 1918 and bad every reason to be pleased with dirs-experience s an owner. He rapidly accumulated a big string of horses and a miniber of them proved good enough for membership in any mans stable. Lahore was the best money-winner and a capital handicap horse when at bis best, as he showed conclusively when he finished lapped on Vh?sk Broom II. in the hitters memorable feat of running a mile and a quarter in 2:00 in the Suburban Handicap. The two Whitney cast-offs. Tarts and Monoeacy, raced in excellent form for him and lesser lights that each contributed 1,000 or more to his stable returns were Republican, Colonel Cook. Delft. Rob R., Jawbone, Palanquin. Frank Hudson. Wooden Shoes, Feather Duster and Warbler.
