GOSSIP FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky.. February 13. Willie Shields is here looking for a good two-year-old thoroughbred or two for a Philadelphia patron. Raymond Davis arrived here from Charleston today and took up O. A. Bianchis Al Bloch and will handle him at the Kentucky Association track until Bianchi arrives with his other racers Tom Shelley left here today for St. Louis with the mares Lizzie Dunbar and Hardly, belonging to . r Otto Stifel. The former is In foal to Ultlmus and the latter to Celt and Stifel wants the births to take place in Jlissouri. The officials at Juarez are making Inquiries here concerning the sale of Grey Plume. The question asked was "Is there a liveryman named Fred Hays in Lexington and did he sell Grey Plume to I. J. Walton on December 27 last?" There is no liveryman named Fred Hayes here. O. H. Chenault sold Grey Plume during the holidays to a young man whose name he does not recall.
