Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week. In its course two of the •elassie"* races for three year-olds will be run. the 1 Two Thousand Oiiincas l eing down for decision on I Wednesday and the One Thousand Ouineas on Fri- day. The Two Thousand is for colts and fillies and i tin- lne Thousand lor lillies alone. Both are run I over the Rowley Mile course, which is now an exact mile, although it formerly was eleven yards more, t It is expected, but not sure, that The Tetrarch will make his tirsi start of this year iu the Two Thou- « sand. If he does go to the pant tit and well he will certainly be the favorite at odds on. But he may be reserved for the Kpsoiu Derby. Whether he starts or not, there will be a goad geld at the post. : naturally greater numerically if he does not go. There are many high bred young horses engaged t which have- never started and a contingent from this a division may go.
