ROCK VIEW MAKES AUSPICIOUS DEBUT. Belmont Four-Year-Old Wins His First Start of the Season at Pimlico Track. Baltimore. Md.. May 7.— Stirring contests were the order at Pimlico this afternoon. Several of the linishes were sensational and much enthusiasm was evinced. The feature race, the Patapeee Steeplechase, proved one of the beat racea ever run through the Pimlico field. The nine starters finished the course without mishap and several of them seemed to have a winning chance al some stage of the running.
