The latter was u forward contender from the start, but tired anil just lasted long enough to outstay LITTLE ENGLAND. The latter was taken up at the start ami ran wide on the turns, but finished fast and ran as if much the best. MONCBEir wet a fast early pace, bul quit when challenged. ABBOTSKORD closed a big gap. CHUCKLES was outpaced in tl irly running. but finished fast anil gamely and weald have bearen the winner in another stride. ISIDORA made up ground anil finished gamely, bul was driving hard at the end to otttstav FATHOM. The latter was -hurtle, 1 back at the start and closed a big gap. POMETTE BLET and WATER WELLES showed speed and tired alter racing wall to the stretch. BRAVE CUNARDEB closed a big gap. The latter ran in greatly improved form, fenced wall and was also a forwartl contender for the entire race. OWANIX was |ioorlv ridden and messed aliout for th« entire way. HANDRINMNG quit.
