KENTUCKY SHIPMENT REACHES DENVER. Denver. Col.. June 10. — The stable- of J. linen setter and Green B. Morris have arrived from Louisville. There were ten horses in this Shipment and all stood the trip well. Those belonging to •I. Iiiciiseiter are Lady Panehlta, Cantem, Sea Cliff, Whims and two others. Mr. Morris colors have n.d been seen in Denver since 1888, when he raced quite a pretentious string here. In his lot are the Derby candidates Judge Gbeena and Rose Ring. Many visitors are arriving dally nam outside points. II. I. Wilson, president of the Butte Jockey Club. uj- here a ila Of two aUS. He leaked over ihe course and predicted that the Denver Fair and Racing Association would have the best meeting ever conducted here. He thinks that the Butlc Jockey clubs meeting, which will follow Denver. will also be the greatest in its history, owiuj; t.. the continued prosperity and the steady rtinuing of the mines nighj and day in Butte. Horses are plentiful in the west this year and some of them fair class perforate! -. Mr Wil-mi went on !.. Butte to attend i" some business iu connection with the raring but will return to see the Derby and remain until his meeting opens, Jsrj 4 Byron McNutt arrived from Oklahoma City. He states that there will be a big following from there for the Denver meeting. Joe Diakelaptel came from Salt Lake to remain for the meeting. apt. W. H. Fenehler. treasurer of the Jockey Club Juarez, has arrived to see the rnimins o"f the Derby and other racing before he returns to Kl Paso. Captain Fenehler. who has visited here before, complimented the management on the extensive improvements that have been made at Overland Dark. T. A. Davies. of Vancouver, who has a big string here in charge of trainer M. Garrity. came up for the local riling season yesterday. Mr. Davies in i tend to si art Mlty Buena in the Derbv. John c. Ferris Dwlatos showed a fast mile in preparation for the Derby, going the distance iu 1:12. which is considered good over this course.
