; I ■ H. D. BROWNS CUBAN FLANS. M. ntreal. Que.. June 28. — H. D. Brown is now In i Cuba completing arrangements for the building of t tin- track ever which he elans to conduct racing at l Havana nexl winter. The plant will be built on toe most up-to-date plan, and will have a mile track, .■.ilh a Rix-furlongs and a mile ami a quarter chute. Mr. Brown has secured all of his concessions and , wick on the plant will be rushed along, so that it will be completed next December. The plans, according to a letter from Mr. Brown. are elaborate, and when coniolctcd the plant will j surpass thai ai Moncreif Park or Laurel. The tentative plan is to open the season at Charleston in November and. alter thirty dins racing, move to Havana. The sport will be carried on for a longer r period in Cuba, alter which the horsemen will return lo Charleston for a spring meeting.
