The latter set a fast pace on the inside all the way and hung on well under punishment, hut was tiring at the finish. MARJORIE A. was forced to work her way up on the outside and made a fast and game finish. EARLY ROSE ran well. AZYIADE was alwavs outpaced. PATON was practically left. TARTAR closed a gap and finished fast after being outpaced in the early running. CELESTA ran a good race and finished gamely. BUSKIN and NIGHTSTICK tired after racing well to the homestretch.
