RENO, miming well in the going, raced close up behind the pacemaker to the stretch turn, from where she rushed into the lead and easily held MARY ANN K. safe at the end. MARY ANN K.s rider wis unprepared at the start, but she moved up steadily ail the way and fmlshed gainelv. OREEN was Hard ridden all the way and stayed well In the final drive. BIG DIPPER set the pace to the stretch, but quit badly near the end. PRINCESS CALLAWAY suffered from much interference by OREEN and showed a dislike for the going. LADY COLONIST was never prominent. CHRISTIE, after racing close up for the first quarter, was suddenly forced back, but recovered gamely and, finishing fast, outstayed NOBLEMAN at the end. The latter began slowly and, making up ground, finished gamely, unit was tiring slightly at the end. RETTERTON showed the most early speed and set the pace to the last eighth, then began tiring. GRECIAN ran a good race and probably would have won with a stronger rider. AUNT JOSIE ran forwardly to the stretch and retired. MISS FIELDER came fast through the last quarter. The latter showed a good turn of speed for his first time out in a long time and finished gamely. LADY MOONET set a fast pace, but tired after going five-eighths in the lead.
