His best winner was the Armeath colt, privet Petal, which credited him .with the Connaught Selling Stakes at the Hamilton June meetijig and the ! Seagram Cup at the Woodbine Park autumn meeting, proving himself a rough and ready customer not to be held lightly in fairly good company. The filly Slipper Day, one of his own breeding, also won well for him 1 and was victress m five races, of which one was the Autumn Handicap at the Dorval Park September meeting.
