GOSSIP FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky., December 22. After having visited the Kentucky Association course. Idle Hour Farm, Hamburg Place and Beaumont Farm. -Messrs. Frank M. Taylor and Charles M. Hughes left here tonight for Cincinnati, without having bought any horses, though Mr. Taylor has prices on several likely youngsters. "It is not a great deal of trouble to locate a good horse here." said Taylor, "but. it is a hard matter to buy him after you have him located." James P. Ross, acting for Dan Lehan, of Louisville, today bought from Martin Doyle, of Paris, the fast coining two-year-old bay colt by Transvaal Margaret llocke. by Orimar. The colt was broken by Robert Frakcs at the Kentucky Association course and Is a good prospect. The yearlings bought by W: H. Karrick for Schuyler L. Parsons of New York, were shipped from here this afternoon to Sheepshead Bay. John i-7. Madden sent with them a yearling brother to Fire-stoue which is also to be handled by trainer Karrick.
