AQUEDUCT STAKES ARE ANNOUNCED Xew York March 10 Secretary Fred Rehbergr of the Queens dJintv Jockey Club has issued the slake blanks for the coming meeting at Aqueduct June 2t to Julj IX The meeting will see the re ¬ vival of most of the famous old stakes that wen run either over that course or the old Gravesend track the home of the Brooklyn Jockey Club With the announcement of these stakes the plans of all of the Xew York associations with the exception f tlu Empire City Racing Association have been innde known These stakes will In announced in duo cmrse and it is known that the Yonkers track will ably fill its place in the circuit circuitThirteen Thirteen stakes are H be run at Aqueduct the most notable being the Brooklyn Handicap with a guaranteed value of 5000 The other races for threeyearolds and inwards are the Carter Handi ¬ cap Brookdalc Handicap Queens County Handicap Myrtle Selling Stakes and the Rockaway Selling Stakes StakesThe The Brooklyn Derby one mile and an eighth and the Union Selling Stakes are offerings exclusively for the threeyearolds while there are live for th twoyearolds These are the Great American Tremont the Hudson the Clover for fillies and the Canarsie Selling SellingThese These stakes are to close April 20 and tin weights f r the llrnoklyn Handicap are to be an ¬ nounced ten days before its running while in tin other handicaps they will be out five days in advance
