PENNSYLVANIA BILL IS IN MEASURE PROVIDING FOR STATE RACING COMMISSION INTRODUCED IN SENATE SENATEBill Bill Would Restrict Sport to Season of Forty Days in Each Year Fair Meetings to Be Ex ¬ empted from Provision of Bill Ilarrisburg Pa April S A revival of horse racing in Pennsylvania is the purpose of a bill in ¬ troduced in tlu senate today by Senator Catliu which provides for the appointment by the governor of a commission of live horse brooders of the state for tlie regulation of racing in all its aspects be ¬ tween April 1 and December 1 of each year The yearThe bill provides for a fortyday racing season and exclude from its provisions race meetings up to sixtlay duration held by county fair associations once each year Five per cent of the gate re ¬ ceipt are to go to the counties in which the meetings are held
