SPEEDING UP AT WOODBINE Toronto Out April 22 Thu track at Woodbine was In excellent condition again yesterday morning and some cf the trainers sent their charges along faster than at any other time this spring An unfortunate Incident befell Charles Lavenders two yearold colt Kesoj by Kelstou Sou Keso was being worked at tlie outside of the track and attempted to bolt through the entrance to the course He ran into tlie fence and was so badly injured that it became necessary to destroy him The exercise boy sustained a broken arm in ad ¬ dition to a severe shaking up The upThe Davlcs horses were all sent along at a good rate Southern Maid went a half in 49 the fractional times being 12 2 and 37 Maxim Belle and Hecoil worked together going a half in 52 and finishing out six furlongs in 121 pulled mi Knights Differ and Perpetual were sent the same distance in 122 The next set brought out Fountain Fay and Starcress which went the threequarters in 121 121Tlie Tlie three Davles youngsters Hock Ore Peep Sight and Early Peep stepMd a quarter in 24 24Hampton Hampton Dame the Krausinaim Plater breezed threequarters In 122 and SarbHa was sent a half iipr iiprIt It is Intended to move the Valley Farm borsfrs to Woodbine totnorrotf
