ED CRUMPS DAY TO SHINE SCHORE COLT COVERS CHURCHILL DOWNS TRACK IN FAST TIME AND WINS EASILY. Schorrs good racer Kd Crump, running in his best form, accounted for todays mile allowance race at Churchill Downs in the fast time of l:.".v-k. njs rider. Gentry, who rode successfully at the San Francisco Exposition meeting, was an arrival today and will accept mounts at Latonia. II. S. Newman will ship Pan Zareta and Hat others in his stable to his farm at Sweetwater. Tex., where they will go into retirement for the winter. W. Martin will take Fly Horn ■ to Latonia and after the close of that meeting will go to Sweetwater to lake up some of the Newman horses for a winter campaign at New Orleans. W. II. Bakers string of racers will be transferred to Latonia tomorrow. The members of the Keutncky State Racing Commission will meet tomorrow at the Seelbach Hotel in tlrs city. It is ex|K-cted that several important matters will come up for discussion. It is also said that the anpeal of George W. Innes and T. J. Brown, ruled tiff at Douglas Park and Latonia. will be acted on. The appointment of a patrol judge to fill the place made vacant by Charles K. Wrights resignation, will also occupy the attention of the members. Mr. Wrights resignation wll go into effect with the dose of the Churchill Downs meet ing. Cliff Hanimon. who is now in Kngland, cabled to F. R. Bradley, his employer, that he would remain there for all the fall sales an.l that he would not. be back in this country until well along toward Christmas time. W. M.
