December 21. — The card that was offered to patrons of racing at Oriental lark today was lacking in any special feature, but produced interesting and formful sport. The opening race enabled Lily Orme to compensate for the disappoint- ment that had previously marked her racing here. She was a staunchly backed favorite again today and won rather easily from Tener and other medi-» ocre opiKMients. The Bedwell stable furnished two of the days winners in Elwah ami Parlor B-y. The former ruled favorite for her race and won off by herself. while Parlor Boy was second choice to Sureget and scored in a hard drive with Moncrief and that horse. The race for two-year olds yielded a surprise iu Medea, neglected in the betting, which showed a return of her good form and won in a drive with Stunner and Blue Rock. Old Dmiuesne made g-nd as a mild favorite in the fifth, but was ridden out to tlie last ounce to beat Beaumont Belle and Cooster. both of which came fr m bellied. Txlays attendance was the largest in the history of the track.
