Hawkins rode Acumen in the tirst race yesterday afternoon and. after the race, he was called into the stewards stand and, upon being searched, the battery was found upon his person. The order banishing him from the turf followed without delay. Moonlight was bid up from 00 to 25 yesterday and sold to Kay Spence. Fairly was claimed yester-daj by C. F. Brant for 25.
