I DISTINGUISHED ARRIVALS FROM ABROAD. New York. January 4. — The steamship Manhattan, just arrived from England, brought over the largest consignment of thoroughbreds ever Isanorted to this country. .She had seventy-one head, including for August Belmont, 19: Brownleigh Park Stable. 2d: John .Sanford, 0; Clarence Mackev. 4; H. T. Oxnard 4: Samuel Ross, 2: W. R. Coo. 2; J. N. Camden. 1; H. P. Whitney. 0; Dr. R. W. McCully. 5 aud T. Welsh 1. While the horses have been more than three weeks on board they all shipped well Mr. Belmonts band left France December 4 and every one looked healthy, though rough in coat. The man in charge of the several consignments reported but little sickness and no loss. Danger , Bock, Mr. Belmonts young stallion, will he trained if |H ssible, otherwise he will go to the stud.
