January 4. — So far 020 nominations have been received for the Futurity of 1918 by Secretary Barloeker of the Westchester Racing As- sociation and distant mails are yet to be heard 1 from. Aniens the nominators are several new aspirants for turf honors. John H. Morris of Kentucky, has entered five, all by Plaudit. John Sanford has entered many and among them the produce I of seven English mares. George Bparr of Kentucky, lias named two. Harris Hancock of Virginia. two." R. Coe are ten English i matrons, and Clarence Mackays nominations include 1 I six mated with Fitz Herhart and one with Mac- dona Id II. W. B. Miller of New York is another new nominator with nine entries, and George W. Widener telegraphed that his entries were on the way. It is estimated there will l e at least eight hundred nonniiiations for the race when they are all listed.
