ANOTHER BIG SALE OF YOUNG RACERS. New York. January 1:;. — Another important sale of thoroughbreds will be held at Durlands on January 20. when the eighteen two-year-olds recently ; s..nt over from Aug.ii.st Belmonts Haras de Yiller Stud in France will bo sold under the man-ugein-ut of the Powers Hunter Company. These are richly-bred youngsters, and the great ancceaa of the Mackay yearlings sale last month leads to ; the belief that good prices will lie obtained. In addition to the two-year-olds there will he sold da three-year-old fillies from the Laugdon Hill Stud of Kngland. which were brought over by Edward Johns. in. an Lnglisb trainer. The four three-year-olds belonging to Clarence H. Mackay also may be included in the sale. The Belmont two-year-olds were reported recently as sold to a prominent turfman, so that they may not he alaloajHd j mi the name of the chairman of the Jockey Club.
