VALUABLE COLT DIES SUDDENLY. Lexington. Ky.. January 17.— Presumably front some heart ailment. Sunlight, the two-year-old chestnut colt by Sundridge — Spectrum, bred in Prance by Clarence H. Mackav and purchased at his sale in New York December 24 by Kenneth Alexander for ,600. dropped dead at the Kentucky ASSOC la-tion course this morning. He was insured for ,500. The colt had been cantering mildly for B few minutes when he stumbled for no apparent cause. His boy pulled him nn. dismounted and led him to where his trainer. W. J. Voung. was standing on the track and he toppled over dead before the lad could explain his suspicions of trouble. Dr. E. W. Hagyard will make a ost mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death.
