LEADING STEEPLECHASE RIDERS. !■ 1814 there was a tie tor first place in the list of soeeesufn] steeplechase riders between W. Allen and I". Ilayncs. with a credit to each of having ridden fifteen winners. It was radically different in 1915. when F. Williams ended the jumping campaign far out in1 front with the good score of twenty-eight wins. Be is an accomplished rider through the field and won his leadership by superior horsemaanhin. W. Allen finished second to him with eleven victories mid then, to keep up the fashion of 1915 in some measure. E. Wolke and M. Tight finished in a tie for third place with ten winning mounts each.
