DUNDREARY TOO FAST FOR KING BOX. El Paso. Texas. February 2. The fields ;1t Juarez today were smaller than usual. The principal offering of tlie day was a seven eighths selling handicap, which attracted a field of a half doaen fair platers and resulted in victory for W. A. Me-Kinneys Dundreary. King Box. from the I. J. Miles Stable, ruled an odds-on choice for the race and figured as the runner up. The horses in action during tlie early part of the day were of decidedly mediocre quality. A race for luaidcus. three-year-olds and over, went to Miss Sedalia. a 10 to 1 chance. Word received by N. K. BJoedy, who has a string at Tijuana from his foreman. W. S. Crawford, is to the effect that the track has been badly washed away and that it probably will be the first of March before racing at resumed. There is plenty of f od and supplies at the track and the stables and grand stand all escaped the flood unscathed. O, 11. Borland claimed Choctaw out of his rare yesterday and sold him to J. N. Mouuce this morning. Jockey Hunt was suspended for live days f r rough riding in the second race and jockey Sterling was similarly desciplincci for the same offense- i:i the third. - Frank D. Weir is suffering with a slight attack of bleed poisoning. He expects to be- out in a few clays.
