HAVANA RACE-GOERS GIVEN A SHOCK. Havana Cuba. February 2. liaeo goers here were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Sim Deiiuel. who dropped dead but night aboard one of the Fnited Fruit Companys steamers while on the way from New York lo Havana. Mr. Kennel was aoeoinpanied by his wife and Michael OCotin.u-and. during the voyage, suffered from liver and kidney troubles. The ship arrived here this morn lag. His body will be shipped back to New York for interment. Todays program was made up of well balanced fields and a majoritv of the finishes were close.
