Kisber. In turn, they joined the great majority, and now Herr Hector Baltazzi has passed away in Vienna in his sixty-fifth year. Like his brothers. he ran horses in this country and won teveral races in 1S75 with the then tbree-vear old Stray Sleo. which he had leased t mm Mr. Henry Chaplain after her hollow defeat bj iah.pin in a match for 500 sovereigns a side over the Bowles Mile. Hen-Hector Bnltazzi. according to "Deuis.-her Sport." first became tamoiis as i gentleman rider by win ning the Great Vienna Steeplechase two years running on his own horse. Fiirby, and on Brigantiue. the latter owned by his hrother-in law. Count G. Stockau. On Victoria he won the big steeplechase at Frankfurt-on-the-Main five years in succession. and twice carried off the Old Baden Steeplechase.
