CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. The .Maryland Joe-key Club has applied to the Baltimore County Racing Commission for dates for a spring meeting beginning May 1 and ending May 15. Bowie has asked for the first half of April. The seven mates belonging to Thomas F. Ryan that arrived from Fnglund last week have been Shipped to J. B. Muddens Hamburg Place Stud in Kentucky. The yearlings belonging to Jefferson Livingston that recently reached New York went west to Kentucky at the same time. All the- buildings on the once-famous Ingleside track at San Francisco have l een torn down and the lumber piled away. The whole tract of land will be planted with sugar lieets and other vegetables. Soon a true k garden w ill replace the mile track and infield where thousands formerly visited to see the running of big stakes and purses. Early this week tit San Francisco II. A. Mauser, an official of the Lower California Jockey club. received a telegram from his brother at F.l Paso containing the information that General Carranza. provisional president of Mexico, has reappointed Bshen Chata governor if Lower California and had approved of all the concessions granted. This is considered good news by the jockey club, as it does away with any possibility of Carranza stopping the races at Tijuana, as was reported from time to time he would io. Foxhall I.
