Already his horses have won more than a tilth of the sum that sufficed to place him second in the list of American owners in 1319. Two remarkable victories in stake races of value and merit by the speedy gelding Marion Gooaby have given M. C. Moore second place in the list and he is now but little behind his entire total of stable earnings for last year. He has displaced J. W. Schorr from the leadership of the New Orleans owners, but tin hater lias done quite well at the Vt scent City and is a good third in the list of thirty leaders.
