KING GEORGE PRESENTS ANMER TO CANADA. Ottawa. Out.. March 7. — The stallion Anmer. under whose Hying la of- Miss Davtsoa, a suffragette, lost her life during the running of the K| -01a Derby of 1013, has been presented by Hi-Majesty the King to Canada for the breeding of remounts. It will be recalled that on the occasion above mentioned. Miss Davison ran out when the horses were at the top of their sp "»d and clutched the bridle rein of the Kings horsy, bringing him down headlong upon herself and losing her life- as a cou-sequence. Anmer, as a result, was put out of the race. He is now six years old. Tin nev Canadian aire has a distinguished pedigree-. His asm sire. Florizid II.. sire of Anmer. was by St. Simon, unbeaten as a race- horse, ami one ot the most successful sires ever known.
