The Wiiliams anti- 1 betting bill was reported to the senate todav bv . the judiciary committee with the recommendation that it be recommitted to the finance committee. The report brought with it the Randall amend- i ment. which is practically a new bill and much ] stronger than the original Williams measure. ] There is now pending in the Bnance committee the trick lull, which creates a «tate nring com mission to take eharire of all racing and impose special taxes. It is possible that this may be reported out 1 as a revenue measure in place of the WjIUuws I bill. I
