April 5 — Chestnut colt by Abe Frank — Negligee, by Marta Santa. Mare bred to Jim Gaffney. April 7 — Bay filly by Buckwheat — Macaroon, kg Marco. Mare will be bred to Helmet. April 9 — Bay filly by Beach Comber or Helim* — Grail, by Atheling. Mare will be returned to Beach Comlier. April 11 — Bay filly by Helmet — Eonic, by Eon. Mare will lie 1 red to Beach Comber. April 12- Bay filly by Helmet Stumpy, by Hand-som -. Mare will be returned to Helmet. E. S. Gardner. Avondale. Tenu.. has shipped seven mares to H. P. Headleys Beaumont Farm to be mated with Ivan the Terrible. Included in the lot are Frogmore dam of Froglegs and Breach i.l.iin of Charlie Eastman. Same mares were mated in 3914 and 1915 to Ivan tl.e Terrible. Mr. Gardner having some promising youngsters by the union.
