PHARAOH raced gamely and was on the outside of the leaders all the way. GENTLEWOMAN raced well and finished close un. MONOCAOY tired badly and ran a poor race. LOBELIA, after racing close up from the start, finished fast and gamely and got up to win in the final strides. AIMEE T. began fast and drew far away while rounding the far turn, bnt tired badly in the last sixteenth. CHERRY BELLE was a forward contender all the way and finished close up. LCCILE P. began slowly and had to work her way up on the outside, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. BON OTIS was badly outpaced. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to ,005 and bought in. TAMERLANE, after being saved for the first half, moved up into an easy lead on the far turn and was under restraint at the finish. SATURNUS forced the early pace and took the lead briefly, but could not withstand the winner. NANNIE McDEE closed a big gap and finished well. GOOD COUNSEL had a rough race, but ran much below bis true form. TZI-LSI set the early pace, but quit after racing well to the stretch.
