CALIFORNIANS SEEKING A RACING LAW. San Francisco. Cal.. April 28. — The next legislature will lie asked to pass a bill to restore horse racing in California, according to announcement made here today. The iohlen Gate Thoroughbred Breeders Vssniation. which conducted a meeting at the Panama Pacific Kxpositioii last year, is at work, it was announced, on a measure designed to overcome the objections of those opposed to horse racing liecause of its gambling accompaniments. The bill probably will be a duplicate, it was said, of the law governing racing in Kentucky.
