WHITNEY HORSES THAT ARE COMING WEST. Now York. May i. — James Rowo. who lias charge of the H. 1. Whitaey horses, has decided to m ml Thunderer. Dominant. Chide and Hansa to I.uis-ille and possibly two lore, but is yet uuderided which two. of his extensive string at Rrool.dalo Farm. Neither lias Kowe yet settled which of Mr. Whitneys horses ho will start in the Kentucky Derby. It wan generally thought here that Rr.uuo would l c the Whitney candidate for the Derby, as his engagements have all been transferred from L. 8. Thompson to Mr. Whitney, which was believed to indicate that Uroino might lie the best of the three-year-olds in the Whitney string. That Mr. Howe has a strong hand for the Derby is uaosjee-tioued. Thunderer is supposedly the ,,j, k of the oamli-dates, while DomiiMiil was a good colt in all his races las year. Chicle won two rates and ma have howii Derhj celshm. Hansa won her only start last year and. while she simply cantered to victory, there was little of much account In-hind her. She probably will bo Mr. Whitneys representative in the Kentucky Oaks. 1
