It wan generally thought here that Rr.uuo would l c the Whitney candidate for the Derby, as his engagements have all been transferred from L. 8. Thompson to Mr. Whitney, which was believed to indicate that Uroino might lie the best of the three-year-olds in the Whitney string. That Mr. Howe has a strong hand for the Derby is uaosjee-tioued.
